Athlete Advice

Register for the program to begin receiving weekly communications

So many athletes do not achieve their best because they get distracted by winning, by fame and fortune or the dream of all three.

This Advice Program endeavours to ensure the athlete has the attitude that will enable them to do the very best they can and is achieved by understanding what is involved in being a sportsperson and how attitude and performance will shape the end product they will become.

By understanding and accepting the importance of all the issues that an athlete will come into contact with (not just playing) is the best way for an athlete to perform the best they can in their (mostly) limited time available.

The concept of 'best' is not an opportunity to opt out - just the opposite, as doing ones best is a level above winning.

It is common to see an athlete or team win consistently at one level yet be shown up as losers at the next level up.

They may not be doing the best that they can as they are focused on winning and not what they have to do to achieve their best and probably win.

Winning can be a distraction - it is impossible to do better than your best - the question is what is your best?

This Program talks a lot about the relationship athletes have with coaches and how important keeping things simple is and how the most successful relationships between coaches and athletes are the ones where trust is obvious and when that is there all involved are more relaxed.

The weekly communications are designed to provoke thought and the search capabilities of the Program will enable athletes to have advice whenever they want it or need it most.

What do you get when you register for the program?

1.

After you have registered for the Advice program(s) of your choice you will receive an email to notify you that your next communication is available.

2.

At any time you can log onto the website, run a 'search' on any word and be able to read the communications already received that relate to that issue.

3.

Each email sent also has the provision to ask questions to the author and so additional assistance is available.

4.

The communications you receive will always be available to review and search even after your subscription for new communications has expired.

Here are some sample communications that will enable you to 'get a feel' for the concept.
